CHRISTOPHER JAMES

A man with glasses and a beard is speaking into a microphone, wearing a colorful cap with comic character faces and a pair of headphones, against a plain wall background.

Dragged from the depths of Texas and mysteriously transplanted to the eerie mountains of Utah as a kid, I’ve been hooked on horror ever since I could peek through my fingers during a scary movie. Slashers, ghosts, cursed videotapes, you name it I’m into it. I’m basically a possessed encyclopedia of horror movie trivia {and really any kind of movie trivia), the kind of person who will gleefully tell you how many gallons of blood were used in your favorite kill scene (even if you didn’t ask). When I'm not watching horror, I'm writing it. Whether it's bone-chilling reviews or original short stories meant to haunt your dreams.

I also host the “I Love Horror Podcast”, where I summon actors, directors, writers, and fellow freaky film fans to talk about the horror movies that scarred them for life in the best way possible. It’s part haunted hangout, part therapy session, all love letter to the genre. I currently reside in Utah with my amazing wife Sydney and our two dachshunds, Mabel and Agatha. They are two tiny hellhounds who rule the house with adorable menace. Horror is a great part of my life and as I always say at the end of my podcast: if you’re a true fan of horror, every night can be a fright night!!!!
