Halloween has unfortunately come and gone far too quickly for my liking. Thankfully, my inbox is keeping spooky season alive and well. Terror Films Releasing just sent over an official announcement about a new title. So, being the horror fan who is excited to share spooky news like this, I’m passing the news along to my fellow horror fans who could use a distraction from those post-Halloween blues. Let’s get into the Terror Films Releasing press article to learn more about this new title.

FROM THE TERROR FILMS RELEASING PRESS RELEASE:

Terror Films Releasing (TFR) has teamed up with writer/director Joshua Hernandez and co-director Pammy Esquivel to bring their found-footage horror film to streaming audiences across North America on November 27, 2026.

Starring Delaney Miller, Keelen Lewis, Isaias Homeyer, and Rossi Rodriguez, “The Wicked Hour” follows a young woman who returns to her haunted childhood home with a documentary film crew. Their investigation into her terrifying past takes a sinister turn when they discover an evil book that unleashes a force capable of possessing them one by one. Apparently, revisiting childhood trauma wasn’t enough of a group activity.

For Hernandez, the inspiration came from a childhood visit to a haunted house attraction, and the mix of terror and excitement that stayed with him long afterward.

“When I was younger, a couple of friends and I visited a haunted house attraction. I remember being terrified before we even stepped inside. Once we entered, that fear kicked into overdrive. It felt like I was trapped inside a horror movie, never knowing what was waiting around the next corner. But despite being scared, I also felt this incredible sense of excitement and happiness,” Hernandez shared.

“That experience stayed with me for years. I made The Wicked Hour because I wanted to recreate that feeling for an audience. I wanted viewers to feel as though they were trapped inside that attraction themselves, where danger could be waiting around every corner and behind every door.

“My hope is that audiences experience that same combination of fear, excitement, and unpredictability that made that night so unforgettable to me.”

“The Wicked Hour” premieres November 27, 2026, across multiple streaming platforms, including Tubi, Chilling, The Roku Channel, and Fandango at Home. Consider this a warning to leave any suspicious books exactly where you found them. Stay tuned here to get my full review of the movie, coming soon.
