October is slowly creeping around the corner, and something wicked always seems to follow with it. The nights grow longer, the shadows feel a little heavier, and the creatures we pretend are not there begin to stir alive. For horror fans, that also means a fresh wave of new movies waiting to deliver scares, frights, and plenty of reasons to keep the lights on. Terror Films Releasing is making sure the fear does not fade once the month begins. Throughout October, Terror Films Releasing will be unleashing a new lineup of horror films. Each one will be packed with psychological terror, masked killers, underground nightmares, and unsettling descents into madness. These titles will individually bring a different kind of fear to the table, giving genre fans another excuse to embrace the season. October may only come once a year, but Terror Films Releasing is making sure every week has something waiting in the dark.
Leading the charge are five very different nightmares, each bringing its own flavor of fear to the month. Whether you prefer psychological mind games, gritty underground horror, masked killers, or a slow descent into madness, there is plenty here to keep October feeling appropriately sinister. “SHE DID IT” (Release Date: October 2, 2026)
Synopsis: Kicking off the month is “She Did It,” a psychological horror story that blurs reality, delusion, and manipulation inside the confines of one increasingly disturbing apartment. The movie is written and directed by Noah Dorsey and produced by Kat McPhee. It will be setting the stage for a deeply personal nightmare where the truth becomes harder to trust with every passing moment.
Official Synopsis: Following a suicide attempt, a vulnerable woman awakens to a horrifying claim: her boyfriend insists her corpse is lying in their bathtub. As the truth begins to unravel inside their apartment, paranoia and manipulation blur the line between reality and delusion.

“UVF: UNDERGROUND VIDEO FILMS” (Release Date: October 9, 2026)
Next up is “UVF: Underground Video Films” (releasing exclusively on FOUND TV), an anthology that embraces forbidden broadcasts, unsettling shorts, and the grimy appeal of underground horror. Written by Joao Augusto De Nardo, the collection features segments directed by De Nardo, Robert Getty, Jill Gevargizian, Peter Hatch, and additional filmmakers. Joao Augusto De Nardo, Gareth Evans, Denman Hatch, and John McCann produced the movie, bringing together several voices for one strange and unsettling broadcast.
Official Synopsis: Presented as a forbidden television broadcast, this horror anthology resurrects a collection of unsettling short films from around the world. A wider release is planned for later in the year.

“STREAM OF TERROR” (Release Date: October 16, 2026)
By the middle of the month, things turn bloodier with “Stream of Terror,” a digital-age slasher that mixes livestream culture, social media fame, and a masked killer looking for an audience. Directed by Robin Hofmann, written by Scott Tomorelli, and produced by Calah Frazier, the movie brings modern internet culture into familiar slasher territory, where going viral may be the last thing anyone wants. “HALLOWEEN CANDY 2” (Release Date: October 16, 2026)
Also arriving on October 16 is “Halloween Candy 2” (exclusively premiering on the CHILLING app), bringing another masked killer, buried secrets, and a house full of potential victims into the Halloween night chaos. Douglas A. Plomitallo returns as both writer and director, with Fred Bonheim and Molly Gazay producing. The sequel continues Candee’s nightmare one year after the original massacre, proving that surviving Halloween once does not guarantee you will be so lucky the next time around.

“CREATURE FEAR” (Release Date: October 23, 2026)
Closing out the announced slate is “Creature Fear,” a darker and more unsettling story centered on disease, violence, and a frightening loss of control. Written and directed by Manny Gumina, who also produces alongside Derek Schmitt, the movie takes its horror in a different direction by grounding its nightmare in physical deterioration and a rapidly unraveling state of mind.
Official Synopsis: In a small Wisconsin lake town, a poverty-stricken felon contracts Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease after ingesting diseased venison. As his condition intensifies, his violent unraveling threatens a Chicago musician and a mysterious singer whose dream of recording an album together quickly becomes a nightmare.
Five films, five different nightmares, and enough bad decisions on screen to keep horror fans very happy this October. Terror Films Releasing is filling the month with psychological breakdowns, masked killers, underground madness, and the kind of chaos that tends to end with somebody wishing they had just stayed home.
