(NEWS) TERROR FILMS RELEASING Opens the Door to “THE DEVIL YOU BECOME”

Terror Films Releasing recently reached out to me with news about the next addition to their library of obscure terror. When it comes to good horror, they have a knack for spotlighting some of the scariest indie movies out there, giving genre fans plenty of reasons to venture beyond the mainstream. So, when they send something my way, you can bet I’m paying attention. Here is the news from the press release:
TERROR FILMS RELEASING has teamed up with writer/director Anthony Bushman to bring his psychological thriller, “The Devil You Become”, to streaming platforms in North America.
Starring Bushman, Ashton Solecki, Jessica Lynn Parsons, and co-written by and starring Brian K. Millard, the film follows an isolated man who must come to grips with his newfound purpose, as well as his fractured psyche, following the deaths of billions from a super virus. Bushman had this heartfelt message to share about the making of the film:
“This film was never supposed to exist. Brian K. Millard and I were in pre-production of what was supposed to be our first feature in March 2020, but 36 hours before production we had to postpone indefinitely due to COVID. In addition to being writing partners and best friends, Brian and I were also roommates, so as the pandemic lingered, we pivoted and started writing a new script... a film that he and I could make entirely by ourselves in our bubble. Inspired by what we were seeing in the real world, themes of fear, trust in science, and isolation found their way into the story.
With our severe limitations, Brian and I were the entirety of the production crew, and we cast ourselves as two of the leads, while filling the other main roles with actor friends whom we filmed remotely. It was slow going and extraordinarily difficult but also proved to be endless fun. Then partway through editorial, everything in my life- the film – came to an abrupt halt when Brian died quite suddenly. I had to step away for months. Resuming post was emotionally taxing, but I knew I couldn’t let Brian down. And while I still face the inevitable moments of grief, especially the heartbreaking realization that Brian will never get to see the finished product, I take solace knowing that he’d be proud of the work we did together.”
TFR will premiere “The Devil You Become” across multiple platforms on November 6th, 2026, including Tubi, Chilling, The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home, and more. Be sure to stay tuned right here for my full review of the movie.
